Nimpon sells ICE to Active Share
Nimpon, 60% of which is held by Nimbus, has sold ICE to a group of investors led by Active-Share based in Alphen aan den Rijn. The Active Share led group have extensive experience in the hydraulic business and have acquired the company with the view to further expand the already leading position of ICE.
ICE, founded in 1977, is manufacturer of vibration equipment, like vibratory hammers, and hydraulic power packs. ICE sells its products all over the world through an extensive dealer network. ICE also has a large rental fleet for the Dutch market.
ICE was acquired by Nimbus in 2003 as part of the purchase of the non-core businesses of Geveke, which companies were grouped in the new Holding Company Nimpon Trade & Services BV (www.nimpon.com). ICE is one of the largest players in its market and has shown very healthy growth in the last 2 years.
