United Dutch Breweries: corporate divestment

UDB was part of InBev, the leading Belgian/Brazilian beer company. Inbev aims to focus on its key beer brands such as Jupiler and Palm and decided to divest the activities of UDB as they did not longer fit into the strategy of InBev.

UDB sells 28 brands to over 100 countries worldwide. Important brands include Oranjeboom, 3 Horses, Royal Dutch, 3 Hoefijzers and Breda lager. UDB generates sales of over Euro 50 million annually.

Nimbus will separate the UDB activities out of InBev to create a stand alone company and develop the full potential of the brands in the years to come.
