Alexander de Haas studied Business Administration at Groningen University and attained his MBA at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. He first worked at a family office before joining the M&A department of Rabobank. In this role Alexander gained a lot of international experience by executing numerous cross-border deals. After his return in 2010 from the United States, Alexander joined Phoenix, an investment company focused on special situations and restructurings. In this role, he assessed opportunities which led to the execution of over 25 acquisitions, exits or wind-downs of portfolio companies. Alexander designed and implemented strategic road maps at numerous portfolio companies through market and profitability analyses which led to improvement opportunities and investment/divestment programs. Alexander enjoys working together with management teams, using his commercial, financial and restructuring experience to increase efficiency and performance.
