Christian Basedow holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He began his career at a German engineering and construction company before joining Booz & Company as a management consultant, focusing on operational improvements and Lean principles in traditional industrial sectors.
Since 2009, Christian has been part of the Nimbus team, bringing a hands-on approach and pragmatic view to operations improvements. He has led numerous M&A transactions and transformations of portfolio companies, stepping in as (interim) managing director or CRO when necessary. Known for his decisiveness and swift action, Christian drives change across organizations, ensuring alignment at all levels—from the leadership team to the shop floor.
