Kaj Grichnik, Partner
Kaj Grichnik is a Geologist by education and obtained an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. He joined Nimbus from Booz & Company, where he focused on helping industrial and basic materials companies transform their operations to confront today’s global marketplace. His professional achievements include: turning around a specialty steel maker, redesigning the global factory network of an agricultural-technology company, developing a manufacturing franchising concept for a fitness equipment producer, conceiving a new transmissions plant in China for a tractor JV and restructuring a specialty aerospace machine-builder. He is the author of the 2008 WSJ bestseller “Make or Break” about the importance of controlling access to manufacturing for companies and national economies. In his free-time Mr. Grichnik supports two pro-bono ventures – Transparency International and the french association for the victims of terrorism (AfVT). He is a german-dutch national, speaks french fluently, and is a Nimbus Partner based in our Munich office.
