Nimbus adds ebu Umformtechnik to portfolio
Early in 2012 Nimbus acquired the industrial stamping machine-building activities of the insolvent Burkhardt GmbH Group in Bayreuth, Germany.
The new company is named ebu Umformtechnik GmbH after the longstanding brand of these top of the line stamping machines. ebu supplies a wide range of industries (from watchmaking to automotive to cutlery) where customers recognize the durability and precision of their machines.
Nimbus was the last in a long line of potential acquirers to submit an offer for ebu as it was the only investor that managed to organize the complex financing and insurance needs of the company.
