Nimbus divests several parts of CIG International

Nimbus is pleased to announce that considerable progress has been made to reduce the portfolio of CIG International.

CIG Architecture has been sold to strategic player UAP Company from Australia. The company has grown tremendously under the wings of Nimbus and has become an expert design and manufacturing partner with a solid reputation. The companies fit extremely well together as CIG Architecture offers 3D manufacturing capabilities to the new group and enhances the market coverage in Europe, the Middle East and North America. The group has worldwide coverage and is the preferred choice for many artists and architects.

Dutch ship engineering companies DEKC Maritime and Groot Ship Design were divested to entrepreneurs Theodoor de Jonge and Ferus Smit. Both have a very strong track record in the Dutch maritime industry and Nimbus is pleased and confident that the companies will continue to prosper under new competent ownership.

Nimbus acquired CIG International in december 2016. The group now consists of deck equipment specialist SEC, CIG Piping in Bremen and Ostseestaal in Stralsund.
