Dücker is a Germany-based company, that designs, engineers and installs a broad range of intra-logistics solutions in the corrugated industry. Dücker is global market leader and supports customers all around the world. In the years prior to 2022 the Dücker group experienced strong growth, both organically and by (foreign) acquisitions. The increased complexity, in combination with challenging supply markets and a centrally managed organization, resulted in the founding family searching support from a professional shareholder. In May 2023 Nimbus acquired the majority of shares in the group. Nimbus’ experience and expertise will support the needed professionalization of the company, preparing it for the next phase of growth and maturity.

For Nimbus, Dücker is the first investment in its fifth fund, and the setting fits well with the hands-on nature of Nimbus. The focus for improvement lies in implementing solid control processes for production and project management, as well as strengthening the organization in multiple layers. On a commercial level there is strong potential in building the service offering and improving the software solutions. We are very pleased and look forward to support the next phase of the company in cooperation with the founding family.
